As part of a final year project for Billy Blue College of Design I worked as a team leader with Samantha Newman, Esther Duinker and Rebecca George to create a product an campaign to fill a gap within the current market.

Much research was undertaken before even considering the type of product that we wanted to create. It was important for us to research not only into design aspects of a product but also the business viability. A great deal of information was collected before we even thought about the visual side of our product.

As a team we have noticed that while there was a growing trend in healthy food for children the market was still dominated very much by sugar filled drinks so our final product was a line of healthy fruit smoothies named Squeezyfruit(in reference to the style of packaging). We took our product further with inspiration from children's breakfast cereal we created a set of our own unique characters that children could identify with, giving us greater control of the product's values as well as unique approach to a very competitive market. Using this image to both educate and entertain not only the children but also their parents who are the final decision makers in the purchase.
